📋 Description

• Planet Technologies, the Nation’s leading Microsoft services provider to the public sector, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing team as a Senior M365 Architect. • In this role, you will be supporting impactful projects that benefit our country. • Planet Technologies West Region is looking for a Senior Microsoft 365 (M365) Architect. • The successful candidate's skills bridge technical knowledge, leadership, and sales experience. • The Architect will be responsible for the scope, assessment, design, testing, and technical documentation for the implementation, support, and migration of enterprise cloud solutions. • The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in M365 platforms, including Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview. • They will leverage this knowledge to inspire and guide customers, colleagues, and strategic partners, offering innovative solutions to meet business needs.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in M365 and broad technology expertise • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proactively respond to internal and external technical communities • Ability to implement related technologies and understand their dependencies in complex enterprise environments • Ability to proactively collaborate across internal, customer, and key partner teams • Thought leader on solving problems in complex environments • Effectively articulate escalations and communicate progress to stakeholders • Has ownership stake in the successful technical delivery of complex projects in large enterprise environments • Has owner stake in the delivery of scope while assisting in managing customer expectations • Microsoft 365: Subject matter expert for Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and other M365 workloads • Microsoft Security: Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Intune, and Entra ID • Microsoft Compliance: Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention and Compliance Center Experience including – Litigation Hold, Retention, and eDiscovery • Exchange: Must have real-world, hands-on experience delivering messaging and collaboration solutions utilizing Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 within large complex environments. This includes extensive hybrid and third-party migration experience. • Active Directory: Must have real-world experience helping to managing and maintaining AD, GPO's, On-Premises Active Directory Migrations.
