Description

• As an Unreal Engine specialist, you’ll be working on the core of our spatial computing systems. • You'll work closely with the rest of the team to create seamless, secure, and performant multi-user immersive experiences. • Design, develop, and optimize multiplayer netcode for VR applications using Unreal Engine. • Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to integrate networked features seamlessly into VR environments. • Utilize Unreal C++ and Blueprint programming to create and refine gameplay mechanics and systems. • Conduct performance profiling and optimization to ensure low-latency and high-performance networked gameplay. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Multiplayer networking, Pixel streaming, and Custom Unreal Engine builds. • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in VR and multiplayer networking technologies.

Requirements

• Expert level proficiency with Unreal Engine C++ and blueprint development • Experience designing and implementing multiplayer netcode for Unreal Engine • Experience working with Unreal Engine custom builds • Demonstrated ability to work comfortably across multiple aspects of the game development pipeline, including design, asset creation, programming, and quality assurance • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment • Self-motivated learner with a passion for staying current with emerging technologies • Nice-to-Have Skills: • Experience integrating OpenUSD with UE • Understanding of VR-specific UI/UX design principles and implementation • Experience achieving multi-platform UX parity across VR, mobile and PC • Experience with AI and machine learning integration in VR environments (e.g., for NPC behavior or procedural content generation) • Clear understanding of network architectures and network optimization for multiplayer gaming and pixel streaming.
