Description

• Manage and process monthly payroll for all employees in India in liaison with our payroll partner • Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll information to the partner • Collate information regarding bonuses, variables and incentives if any from respective internal stakeholders • Process payroll deductions and withholdings • Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve any payroll-related issues • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations • Verify payroll tax filings and reports, statutory contributions and corrections • Maintain accurate records of employee payroll and benefits information • Generate reports related to payroll, benefits, and other HR metrics • Provide support to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries • Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding related to payroll and benefits • Conduct periodic benefits audits and reconciliation • Maintain and update payroll and benefits systems • Ensure data integrity within payroll and benefits software • Collaborate with respective internal stakeholders to improve system functionalities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Masters in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field • 5 to 8 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., GreytHR/DarwinBox/Workday/Bamboo etc) and benefits administration platforms • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations • Excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable in a fast-paced and often-changing environment: Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize quickly • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work independently, multi-task, and follow up on projects and issues • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Google sheets (must have) • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification is a plus not mandatory

• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, mandatory statutory benefits (PF, ESI, Stat Bonus etc) and other voluntary benefits (VPF) • Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations • Communicate benefits information to employees and answer any questions • Liaise with benefits providers and brokers
