Description

• Apply a deep understanding of business unit functional work and business operations in order to balance people and business priorities. • Collaborate with global business leaders to implement strategies focused on increasing employee engagement, retention and team development. • Partner and guide managers through challenging conversations including performance coaching and terminations, and train and review for quality documentation. • Coach, advise, counsel and provide candid feedback to department leaders. • Identify, lead, and project manage specific People Ops projects and initiatives, both for our internal team and what you identify for your assigned departments. • Partner with your leaders on their hiring needs and strategies, and bring insights to our Talent Acquisition team on hiring quality and offboarding trends. • Provide guidance to team members and management on policies, procedures and programs. • Develop and manage change management efforts across the organization. • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with People Operations leadership to develop solutions, programs and policies. • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct timely, thorough investigations and make recommendations. • Participate in all facets of the performance management activities including performance management education, calibration sessions, and timely completion of all performance assessments by leaders. • Partner with People Ops leadership on succession planning and talent development strategies for the organization, identifying critical roles and preparing potential talent and pipelines mentoring, training, etc. • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development with our learning and development team to enhance employee skills and career growth. • Administer HR policies in compliance of all global countries, federal, state and local legal requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • 3+ years as a Human Resources Business Partner • 5+ years experience in an HR role showing increasing responsibility including hands-on experience managing day to day HR administration • International experience is required; Experience supporting teams in India preferred • Prior experience with the rapid pace of a startup environment • Prior experience supporting a global workforce • Ability to work effectively in an environment with a high level of ambiguity • Ability to collaborate to get things done • A sense of urgency, the ability to take initiative and strong accountability is a must • Strong Google sheets/excel proficiency • Previous experience with HR information systems is required • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work independently, multi-task, and follow up on projects and issues • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface with all levels of the organization across multiple teams
