📋 Description

• As a SW Development Manager, you will be an integral part of our dynamic development team working on our industry leading device management and provisioning solutions. • You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development and implementation of scalable high-performance web applications. • This is a hands-on position working closely with development teams across Motive R&D. • You will be instrumental in driving next gen technical stacks and development processes. • You will be driving secure SDLC within products, aligning with Motive policies. • Collaborate with security teams to implement industry-standard DevSecOps best practices in pipelines and CI infrastructure. • Review, update and strengthen DevOps strategies, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability across the organization. • Interact with product management and presales to strengthen new product initiatives aligned with best development practices. • Drive automation efforts across infrastructure, deployments, and testing to eliminate manual intervention and reduce downtime. • Mentor and coach team members to support their career advancement and personal development. Set clear expectations; assign goals; and measure impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors or master’s in computer science/ computer engineering/ software engineering. • 12+ years of professional experience in software development and 4 years of development management experience. • Proven experience in software development and architecture, with a track record of leading successful product initiatives. • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. • Proficiency in modern software development tools and methodologies. • Up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development. • Experience building continuous deployment model with automation framework from development to deployment in production networks. • Highly proficient in DevOps tools and technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms including AWS and OCP. • Experience and deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, encryption methods, and secure coding/ testing practices. • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced, agile environment. • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. • Strong grasp of AI/ML concepts, LLM principles, algorithms, and tools, with a particular emphasis on utilizing these tools for improving software development practices. • Good understanding of network protocols (HTTP, TCP / UDP, SNMP) and Java NIO. • Hands-on development experience of high-volume, low-latency applications. • Experience in multi-cloud platforms: AWS/ Azure / OCP. • Telecom experience is a plus. • Experience on Micro service architecture using Spring Boot. • Knowledge on Java EE frameworks. • Experience building applications with machine learning libraries.
