• This is a remote position. • Senior Backend Engineer • At GrabCareers, we empower engineers to find roles that match their skills and aspirations. • We provide a tailored approach, ensuring you connect with opportunities where you can make a significant impact. • Candidates must have valid USA work authorization. • We are unable to sponsor visas at this time. • Who You Are: You are a seasoned backend engineer with 5+ years of experience, passionate about building scalable and robust systems. • You possess deep expertise in Java or Go and are comfortable working with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP. • You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy leading technical architecture decisions. • What You Will Do: Design, develop, and implement highly scalable and performant backend services. • Optimize existing systems for performance, reliability, and maintainability. • Lead the architectural design and technical direction of platform services. • Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices. • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide timely resolutions. • Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to define and implement new features. • Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of knowledge sharing. • Work with distributed systems and microservices.
