• Are you interested in seeing your code positively impact countless patients' lives every day by building the future of healthcare? • We are searching for a Senior Back-End Engineer that has experience working with large production applications. • You will be a critical member of our engineering team, revamping our existing software experience and helping build our future software from the ground up using modern technologies. • PatientIQ is a fast-growing health tech company empowering healthcare providers, industry, researchers, and others to collaborate on the mission to improve patient outcomes. • What You'll Work On: build the largest peer network for healthcare providers to collaborate, advance the capabilities of our analytics engine, automate patient workflows, grow our library of 3rd party integrations, and optimize the platform for scaling and increasing data flow. • Technologies we use: Ruby on Rails, RSpec, Capybara, CircleCI, JavaScript, React, Jest, CSS, Design Systems, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS Lambda, Serverless.

Requirements

• Work with product managers and designers to build and realize new product features • Active development with proper test coverage • Perform peer code reviews to ensure the team is producing well tested and maintainable code • Support and optimize a critical production environment • 5 years of experience building web applications • Ability to write clean, well designed, and scalable code • First-hand professional experience with Ruby on Rails • Desire to work in a collaborative environment: interactions with the leadership team, product managers, and customer success teams • Knowledge of databases and backend experience
