Description
• Drive technical and business strategy in the Observability department. • Influence the product roadmap. • Drive system design and collaborate within teams. • Work with your team to deliver new features. • Build and operate critical systems. • Participate in on-call rotations. • Mentor and support team members. • Become a subject matter expert for observability products. • Understand the cloud product and get to know the codebase. • Nice to have: Power user of Grafana and Prometheus.
Requirements
• motivated self-starter with a bias towards action. • customer focused, creating intuitive products for users’ needs. • experience delivering projects from requirements to shipping. • building and deploying SaaS software on cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure. • strong experience in Java programming and building Java-based microservices. • experience with Kubernetes. • responsible for operating production services and on-call rotations. • actively mentoring other team members. • sharing knowledge through blog posts and tech talks. • curious and eager to learn new programming languages and frameworks.
