📋 Description
• Evaluate applications for short-term business financing and merchant cash advances (MCAs). • Conduct thorough financial analysis and risk assessment of applicants. • Review and verify bank statements, financial documents, credit reports. • Determine the creditworthiness of applicants and prepare offers for financing within accordance to the organizations underwriting policies and guidelines. • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure smooth processing of applications.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, business, or a related field. • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in underwriting or related fields. • Strong understanding of bank statements, transactional analysis, financial statements, credit analysis, and risk assessment. • Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools (e.g., Excel, underwriting software). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
