Description
• The Director of Underwriting is accountable for the team of Underwriters • Responsible for identifying, gathering, and analyzing relevant information to assess credit risk • Communicate with ISO's, employees, and merchants to ensure that turn-times and time commitments are met. • Complete employee performance reviews and be full responsible for their development and productivity. • Ensures thorough training and evaluation of staff.
Requirements
• At least 15 years of professional work experience • At least 5 years of leadership experience managing at least 10 people. • At least 5 years of experience in underwriting or a related financial role. • At least 5 years’ experience recruiting talent for its direct reports. • Strong proficiency in MS office (will be tested) • Preferred: Has experience in working in Salesforce.
