Description

• Our client is a fundraising platform offering industry-leading programs that include fitness-focused fundraising events and school spirit wear, aiming to revolutionize the fundraising landscape. • The platform supports millions of students and educators nationwide, providing innovative and inspiring programs that enhance educational experiences. • Team structure as follows: • There are currently 2 staff engineers on the DevOps team that the new hire would be working with. • They follow a standard agile process, including: • Daily standups • 2-week sprints • Backlog grooming • Sprint planning every other week • Sprint reviews. • The main responsibilities would be writing Terraform to provision new AWS infrastructure for the engineering teams, as well as working on Docker and improving the local development environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with AWS, including familiarity with services like EC2, ECS, and EKS • Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code • Proficiency in setting up CI/CD pipelines, preferably in GitLab • Knowledge of Docker and experience improving local development environments • Expected to work closely with the existing DevOps team, participating in daily standups, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies • English level: Upper-intermediate or higher • Familiarity with Kubernetes (preferred but not required) • Experience with Kafka (preferred but not required)
