Description

• Under the supervision and direction of the Vice President of Ancillary Programs, the Director of Ancillary Programs will oversee Clear Spring Health’s supplemental commercial group benefit program operations. • This role is positioned as a key leadership executive and a potential successor to the Vice President. • The Director of Ancillary Programs will bring a deep understanding of the supplemental commercial group insurance industry, along with strategic leadership capabilities, problem-solving acumen, and a commitment to Clear Spring Health’s mission of simplifying healthcare. • This position requires managing both internal and offshore staff, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and partnering with external vendors to deliver effective and seamless service.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Health Administration, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MHA) preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in supplemental group insurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role. • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the supplemental group insurance industry, including regulatory requirements and trends. • Leadership & Management Skills: Proven experience in managing diverse teams, including onshore and offshore employees. • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with transparency and customer focus. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with insurance software.
