Description

• Managing Consultants are responsible for managing projects from cultivation to completion in a fast-paced environment. • You will manage the activities of the designated project team and support the day-to-day management of the client relationship. • You are expected to effectively develop and manage project execution and planning, staffing, deadlines and budgets and are expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Work products are expected to be high-quality and client-ready. • In this visible role, you will lead team meetings and guide, manage, and coach Consultants and Senior Consultants, providing constructive feedback on their project participation and overall career development. • Managing Consultants work closely with Associate Directors, Directors, and Partners to keep them abreast of project progress and important developments as well as to integrate guidance and engagement recommendations. • Managing Consultants take part in sales initiatives and Practice Development. • Our work helps our clients make informed decisions that directly support the Triple Aim of healthcare, ensuring Medicaid beneficiaries can receive high quality care wherever they live, while minimizing state expenses.

Requirements

• Completion of at least four actuarial exams, with intent and ability to progress to ASA or FSA. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Insurance, Mathematics, Risk Management, Statistics, or similar. • At least have 5 years of work experience including the following: • Analysis and summarization of data using spreadsheets • Knowledge of actuarial and statistical modeling techniques • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) • Occasional ability to travel.
