📋 Description

• Guidehouse is searching for a project manager for software development in a biomedical research environment • Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop, maintain, and promote a variety of publicly available web and mobile applications • Support the project development team in keeping with the NIAID Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Assist with planning and organizing project activities • Liaising with project partners for both ongoing and prospective projects • Organizing focus groups and training and outreach efforts • Preparing project plans, including resource estimates and schedules for presentation to stakeholders • Analyzing and resolving issues that could jeopardize performance and/or the ability to meet agreed-upon milestones and deliverables

🎯 Requirements

• Masters Degree • Minimum of FOUR (4) years of experience • 2+ years of experience managing bioinformatics projects; prior experience with project management duties • 2+ years of experience coordinating with research scientists and clinicians • Experience developing project documentation for senior management and development teams • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to a wide variety of audiences • Proficiency with MS Office applications • Demonstrated knowledge of privacy and security policies and implementations related to healthcare systems • Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work independently and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
