Description

• Manage and lead Guidewire Essential Services projects that span Implementation as well as Production services. • Oversee delivery of several concurrent Essential Services engagements. • Partner with Guidewire consultant developers and test engineers in a customer-facing role. • Accountable for managing the associated P&L and reporting the project's financials to Guidewire leadership. • Report directly to the Essential Services Portfolio Director under the “Sales, Operations, and Delivery” vertical.

Requirements

• Very strong communication skills and ability to work on fast-paced projects, requiring interaction with key stakeholders within the Customer’s Business and IT areas. • Strong organizational skills and follow-through of activities • Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies to ensure release delivery, controls, issue resolution, and risk mitigation • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project, setting quality standards and assessing risks • Experience managing and delivering Guidewire, self-managed or cloud, implementation projects • Experience working with people across multiple geographies • Strong ability to direct a team and achieve needed deliverables. • Skill in working with implementation partners and running multi-functional projects • Understanding of the P&C insurance industry to be able to have effective discussions with customers. • Technical background, ideally in a SaaS environment • End user experience in using SalesForce and PSA in managing projects, financials, and resources. • Demonstrated negotiation skills within challenging situations.
