Description

• Prepare financial work papers, reports, and journal entries • Assist with monitoring, maintaining, and reconciling financial accounts and Accounts Payable • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts as required • Prepare financial statements, including a Balance Sheet, Income Statement, General Ledger, Trial Balance, and other Ad Hoc reports • Coordinate financial statement preparation and supporting documents for annual tax preparation and quarterly extension payments • Communicate with all levels of management, clients, and third parties to investigate and resolve account discrepancies and issues of non-compliance • Contribute to developing new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures • Perform other accounting research, accounting duties, and supporting staff as required or assigned additional training staff

Requirements

• One to Three years of public accounting experience • Demonstrated understanding of accrual basis accounting • Strong proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications • Ability to conduct the month-end closing process and review financials • Preferably skilled in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, and Bill.com/Expensify • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Capacity to work autonomously and in collaborative settings • Eagerness to take on responsibilities, advance, proactive, and team-oriented • Well-organized with strong prioritization skills
