Description

• Oversee and optimize spend related to Resins, Molding & Extrusion • Develop and implement category strategies to mitigate risk and drive cost savings • Manage supplier relationships and ensure procurement process efficiency • Analyze spend patterns and implement initiatives for cost savings • Negotiate contracts on behalf of the company • Implement streamlined procurement processes • Monitor global market trends and emerging technologies • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align strategies with business needs • Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for category management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field • Proven experience (5+ years) in global category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement • Resin procurement expertise (5+ years) including knowledge of resin materials • Experience with Molding and Extrusion processes is preferred • Prior experience in the medical device industry is preferred • Strong contract negotiations background • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing category strategies • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, market research, and financial modeling • Experience in using procurement software and tools is desirable • Proactive, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strong project management skills • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (10-20%) • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remotely
