Description

•Work a base schedule of 30 hours a week, including: 20 hours dedicated to therapy sessions •Provide weekly psychotherapy using CBT and other evidence-based practices to children ages 8-17 and young adults over age 18 years •Participate in weekly 1-on-1 case consultations, weekly team consultations, peer-only huddles, and ongoing professional development programming •Complete clinical notes and documentation in a timely manner •Communicate with your client’s pediatricians, school counselors, and other members of their family as needed •Over time, we offer opportunities for clinical and administrative growth within Handspring

Requirements

•Licensed mental health professionals with at least 3 years post-graduate experience providing psychotherapy •Active unrestricted license in New York •Required license types: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist •Ability to work independently with a strong interest in collaboration and learning •Clinical experience working with young people and their families •Knowledge of and/or some training in evidence based mental health treatments •Comfort with using and learning new technologies, including Zoom, Office, electronic health record systems, and other team collaboration tools
