📋 Description

• The Sr. Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in Harbor Health's financial strategy. • This position will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing models, and providing actionable insights. • The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with healthcare industry knowledge. • Develop and maintain analytics and reporting to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement. • Create financial models that forecast revenue, costs, and profitability across various service lines. • Analyze member utilization patterns and their impact on gross margins. • Partner with clinical and operational teams to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality of care. • Prepare and present financial analyses and recommendations to leadership. • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes with a focus on gross margin analysis. • Monitor and analyze healthcare reimbursement models and payment trends. • Evaluate potential new service offerings and strategic initiatives for financial viability. • Develop dashboards and reports to communicate financial performance metrics. • Collaborate with the Finance and Accounting Team to ensure consistency in reporting and analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably in healthcare • Strong understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement models, and revenue cycle • Experience with value-based care models and/or payvider organizations highly desired • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis tools • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment preferred • Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and regulations
