β’ Work closely with Program manager to identify and rank vacancy applicants β’ Prepare recurring and new vacancy announcements β’ Adjudicate applicant packages and ensure compliance with veterans' preference requirements β’ Perform routine staffing support duties for recruitment-to-hire functions β’ Respond to questions, complaints, and problems related to HR policy β’ Review work products, initiate necessary actions, and maintain databases β’ Prepare routine reports and utilize HR IS to document work output β’ Facilitate collaborative workshops and provide briefings and presentations
β’ Expertise in Federal regulations related to HR staffing policies and procedures β’ Proficiency in implementing all aspects of recruitment-to-hire functions β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills β’ Experience in developing detailed formal reports β’ Ability to work independently with minimal guidance β’ Demonstrated experience with HR automated systems such as Monster, USA Staffing, HR Connect β’ Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Federal HR Specialist β’ Extensive background in staffing and placement on the Federal Government level β’ Ability to perform job analyses β’ Must have demonstrated experience in USA Staffing and DCPDS β’ Must be able to pass a Public Trust security clearance process
