β’ Oversee proposal development to ensure strategic messages are clearly articulated and the win strategy is reflected in the final product, maximizing the probability of success. β’ Ensure adequate resources are allocated to deliver compliant, complete, and high-quality proposals on time and within budget. β’ Organize strategy meetings to establish win themes and align team efforts. β’ Conduct formal management reviews (e.g., pink, red, gold team reviews), ensuring timely collection, integration, and distribution of feedback. β’ Assist management in competitive analysis and solution strategy development. β’ Lead proposal kick-off meetings to align participants on requirements, roles, and objectives. β’ Summarize RFP requirements and provide up-to-date information to all participants. β’ Develop win themes and team differentiators for consistent emphasis across all proposal volumes. β’ Establish effective communication channels for the proposal team, including updates on solicitation changes, Q&A responses, and draft sharing. β’ Create and manage the proposal master schedule to ensure timely completion of all tasks. β’ Provide formatted volume templates to volume managers for consistency and compliance. β’ Coordinate the posting and integration of draft proposal deliverables. β’ Translate bid strategies into compelling proposal narratives. β’ Develop and manage detailed proposal schedules, milestones, and action plans. β’ Monitor and enforce adherence to milestones and deadlines. β’ Assign and oversee writing tasks and volume outlines. β’ Coordinate reviews and approvals for each proposal phase. β’ Guide value proposition development and ensure it aligns with the overall strategy. β’ Write, revise, and refine proposal content to ensure messaging is clear, compelling, and consistent. β’ Manage and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and technical disciplines in high-pressure environments.
β’ Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required. β’ Eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for the degree. β’ Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in a fast-paced, high-volume proposal environment, including experience as a manager leading teams. β’ Proven track record of leading at least one major (> $20M) successful opportunity (opportunities > $50M strongly preferred). β’ Must be a U.S. citizen. β’ Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. β’ Top Secret clearance preferred. β’ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio. β’ Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams. β’ Experience with web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
