Description

• Integral in securing Headway’s growth with compliance and quality by providing timely legal advice • Advise on privacy and security, security risk management, fraud prevention, and compliance • Play an instrumental role in building legally compliant policies, procedures, and practices • Report directly to Headway’s General Counsel and work closely with legal and compliance teams

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree and a license to practice law in New York and/or US jurisdiction • 5+ years of professional legal experience, preferably in a regulated company • Thrive on giving practical, timely advice and committed to cross-functional work • Deeply knowledgeable on privacy and security, anti-fraud, and anti-money laundering law • Excel at giving actionable advice and supporting implementation efforts • Function well in a high-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities • Engage, inspire, build credibility, and trust across all levels • Exceptional communication, organizational, project management, and prioritization skills
