📋 Description

• Serve as a department of one, reporting to the CEO and partnering closely with leadership • Own the entire employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, offboarding • Administer semi-monthly payroll (via Gusto), benefits, and leave—including deductions, contributions, and compliance • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states • Review and update company policies and SOPs regularly • Build and manage employee engagement, morale, and sentiment programs • Be the trusted go-to for employees who need a sounding board, a resource, or someone to help them feel heard • Serve as a strategic voice on the leadership team, helping shape the culture and supporting our long-term expansion plans

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field • 3+ years of human resources management experience • Hands-on experience with payroll, benefits administration, and compliance • Strong knowledge of employment-related laws and multi-state regulations • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
