📋 Description

• Review court documents with Clients to ensure accuracy and understanding • Collect signatures and execute court filings and service of process • Perform regular case reviews with attorneys to ensure accurate case status updates, collection and calendaring of court dates and deadlines to ensure cases move as quickly as possible • Partner with our Customer Support team to handle and resolve client questions and escalations • Maintain routine communications with clients about case status • Gather relevant information from a variety of sources • Work as part of a team with all levels of experiences • Provide assistance to other departments as required.

🎯 Requirements

• Motivated by fast changing environments • Excited to think of creative ways to advocate for clients and find ways to move cases forward • An understanding of and/or working knowledge of Texas Family Law Litigation transactions is required • Prefer 2 years of Paralegal experience working in Texas Family Law • Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc. • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail • Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision • High proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, G Suite and overall tech savvy, able to learn new systems quickly and be comfortable with technology • Responsive and adaptable, start-up experience and/or interest is preferred • Comfortable with remote work environments and, use of communications tools like Slack • Paralegal Certificate preferred • Legal Document Preparer Certificate is a huge plus • Bilingual in English and Spanish is huge plus
