📋 Description
• Collaborate to design, build, release, and maintain the HER Android app, taking ownership of your work. • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code that’s elegant and performant. • Develop new features from the ground up (we love creating exciting new things!) • Maintain and improve legacy parts of the application. • Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues to ensure a seamless user experience. • Drive improvements in code quality, maintainability, tooling, and automation.
🎯 Requirements
• Proficiency in Android development best practices, including APIs, SDKs, and libraries. • Ability to translate business requirements into maintainable, efficient, and timely code. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience in developing and architecting UI and user journeys for Android apps. • MVVM, coroutines, Flow, Clean Architecture • MVP, RxJava, XML views • Solid understanding of algorithms, memory management, object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, concurrency, and real-time communication. • Expertise in Kotlin. • Excellent communication skills. • A passion for creating safe, inclusive spaces for sapphic users online. • Familiarity with modern testing methodologies and tools. • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. • Experience with iOS (Swift) or Go. • Familiarity with tools like Graylog, ElasticSearch, DataDog, and gRPC.
