📋 Description

• Position to provide both technical expertise as a SME and Leadership in the field of controls engineering. • Works with the director of power and automation to manage a diverse team of technical specialists. • Position must manage group activities to support process controls projects and day to day controls modifications. • Expected to collaborate closely with and advise different teams like Innovation, Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain. • Develops, implements, and optimizes process controls to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with industry standards. • Communicates effectively with leadership, peers, and external partners to align strategies and drive initiatives forward. • Demonstrates expertise in programming and design of HMI interfaces for integrated systems such as Delta V as well as independent HMI systems.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively and maintain strong interpersonal relationships in team-oriented settings. • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing diverse teams. • Ability to work with a diverse number of skill sets from detailed SMEs to general experts who may not have a classic education but possess extensive knowledge in their fields of expertise. • Solid knowledge and practical application of process control methodologies. • Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed organizational structures. • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. • Capable of networking within a matrix organization and working remotely. • 7+ Years of Industrial Experience. • Must have good organizational and communication skills. • Must have a working knowledge of ladder logic, sequential function charts, and block diagram programming styles. • Knowledge of structured text will not be required. • Capable of working with 3rd party engineering firms to represent Hexion during Front End Engineering efforts.
