📋 Description

•Higher Logic is an industry leader in cloud-based engagement platforms. •Our data-driven approach gives organizations an expanded suite of engagement capabilities, including online communities and marketing automation. •We help you track and manage interactions along each stage of the digital customer experience. •Organizations worldwide use Higher Logic to bring people together, by giving their community a home. •This is a full-time position with the Platform Engineering Team. •You’ll work both collaboratively and independently on concurrent complex projects. •You’ll be relied on to employ a high degree of technical skill in a global, multi-cloud environment. •Platform Engineering at Higher Logic has a primary responsibility for service reliability in the production environment. •We’re also crucial to Engineering enablement through CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

🎯 Requirements

•Want to improve product, technology, people, and process in a growing organization. •Appreciate the value of diversity of opinions, approaches, and backgrounds. •Communicate & collaborate extremely well with others. •Understand the value provided by incremental solution delivery, POCs, MVPs, etc. •Think with an Agile mindset and are familiar with Kanban and Scrum. •Have significant commercial experience with our stack, or a bachelor’s degree or better in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent. •Some high-level language experience such as: Python, PowerShell, C# (and need to write code for your job). •Demonstrated server-management skills, including a high level of comfort on the command line. •Infrastructure-as-code, and related tools such as: Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Packer, GitHub Actions. •AWS, Windows Server, Linux, Windows Kerberos Authentication, Active Directory, ADFS, SQL Server, MySQL, IIS, HAProxy, Autoscaling, RDS, Docker, Redis, Memcached, CI/CD. •Experience with Cisco or other network appliances, and network design best practices. •Deep understanding of internet concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, databases, caching, load balancing).
