Description

• Draft and negotiate a broad range of agreements (including Terms of Service, Master Subscription Agreements, and Data Processing Addendums) with a primary focus of supporting the licensing of Hightouch's products and services. • Provide day-to-day commercial legal support and advice to the sales organization. • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to shepherd deals to completion. • Facilitate the timely closure of business transactions while minimizing risk exposure. • Manage and resolve legal issues and contract interpretation matters that arise in existing commercial relationships. • Proactively establish strong relationships with internal clients (e.g., sales, engineering, customer success) and enhance legal knowledge throughout the Hightouch team.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of post-law school experience at a law firm or in-house role that challenged and pushed you. • The ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-attorney stakeholders and convert legalese to plain English. • Exceptional organizational and time management skills. • Demonstrated history of developing strong working relationships with Sales, Finance, Engineering, or other comparable key stakeholders. • Interest in the novel and the routine portions of the practice of law, and the ability to excel in executing both. • Experience delicately and successfully balancing the requirements of the law with risk analysis and mitigation. • Member in good standing of a US state bar association (NY or CA preferred).
