📋 Description
• HII Mission Technologies' Global Security group seeks a Software Engineer 2 • Join our Internal Research and Development team • This is a full-time remote position, requiring work during Eastern Time zone hours • Play a critical role in planning, research, design, development, and testing of software • Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems • Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers • Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, and programming techniques • Prepare operating instructions and ensure software standards are met • Work under general supervision and follow established procedures • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems
🎯 Requirements
• 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C++ • Experience developing software for DoD distributed simulations (preferred)
