📋 Description

• Managing full-cycle semi-monthly payroll processing across multiple subsidiaries • Supporting month-end close process by ensuring accurate and timely recording of payroll transactions in the general ledger • Processing off-cycle payroll batches as necessary • Reviewing and processing hours from a timekeeping system and facilitating resolution of discrepancies • Creating reconciliation reports at month-end and year-end for regulatory compliance • Designing and implementing scalable processes to enhance payroll operational efficiency • Preparing payroll reports for various internal departments • Maintaining good recordkeeping practices and payroll files • Assisting with other accounting and finance projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, or a related field • 5+ Years of experience in a payroll function preferably in a fast-paced/ public company environment • Experience with multi-state Payrolls larger than 1,000 employees with both exempt and nonexempt employees • Detailed knowledge of payroll compliance and working knowledge of state/federal employment laws/regulations. Shift Differential experience preferred • Paylocity and NetSuite experience preferred • Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of work products. Proven ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-growing environment with frequently changing priorities • Possess a tech-savvy mindset and passion for end-to-end design and improvement • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with various levels of difficulty in a fast-paced environment • Must be proficient in the use of a spreadsheet (MS Excel and Google), word processing (MS Word and Google). Advanced Excel Skills preferred
