Description

• We are seeking a well-rounded, experienced Certified Public Accountant who will manage accounting and payables for real estate and construction projects. • The role may not require a full 40 hours per week of accounting work, so additional responsibilities will include administrative support such as file organization, email management, and other related tasks. • Manage all accounting functions related to real estate and construction projects, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. • Handle Accounts Payable (A/P) processes, ensuring all invoices are processed, tracked, and paid on time. • Reconcile vendor accounts and handle any discrepancies or billing issues with vendors and suppliers. • Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements to provide clear and accurate insights into the financial health of real estate and construction projects. • Manage job costing, including allocating expenses to the correct projects and ensuring all costs are accurately recorded. • Maintain accurate records of all real estate transactions, construction contracts, and expenses. • Organize and maintain financial files and records • Manage emails, ensuring timely responses and organization of communication. • Assist in various administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and supporting daily operations as needed.

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant is required. • Experience in real estate and construction accounting is strongly preferred. • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, job costing, and financial reporting. • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks online and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) are required • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to handle both financial and administrative responsibilities effectively.
