• At Hitachi Energy our purpose is advancing a sustainable energy future for all. • Join us and work with fantastic people, while learning and developing yourself on projects that have a real impact to our communities and society. • Bring your passion, bring your energy, and be part of a global team that appreciates a simple truth: Diversity + Collaboration = Great Innovation. • The primary focus of the position will be to support the North American marketing and sales team with business intelligence reporting as well as defining metrics to drive continuous improvement. • This role will be responsible for utilizing and developing reporting capabilities within Power BI to facilitate management decision making. • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate those needs into effective reports, dashboards and interactive visualizations. • Collaborate with data teams and other analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data. • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to continuously improve business performance. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards. • Be a subject matter expert on Power BI and related technologies, providing guidance and support on data modeling, Power Query and DAX calculations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or relevant degree. • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Power BI Analyst or similar role. • Experience with Power BI and familiarity with DAX and the Power Query M formula language. • Experience with a large company’s CRM system like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics. • Exposure to a large ERP system like Oracle or SAP. • Familiarity with SQL. • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively to build working relationships with all stakeholders. • Self-motivated, results-focused, analytical mindset with a penchant for details. • Must be fluent in both writing and speaking in English. • Experience implementing data-driven changes and exposure to lean manufacturing principles is desirable. • Microsoft Certifications in Power BI Fundamentals and/or Power BI Data Analyst Associate are a plus. • Knowledge about the Hitachi Energy Transformers product portfolio is an advantage.
