Description

• As a Commissioning Engineer at HITEC Power Protection, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our state-of-the-art Dynamic Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems are installed and function according to specifications and customer requirements. • Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and perform the startup and commissioning processes, ensuring that all systems are operating optimally. • You will work closely with our Service Technician, customers, and other engineers to ensure that systems meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. • Is responsible during the installation phase of new systems, can upgrade existing systems and has the final responsibility on site for commissioning, services, and Site Acceptance Testing. • Has the lead during commissioning projects where it is possible to have multiple units installed. • Oversee and execute commissioning activities for our Dynamic UPS installations at client locations. • Perform detailed system inspections and functional testing to verify performance against specifications. • Collaborate with project engineers and installation teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during commissioning. • Provide training and guidance to customers on system operation and maintenance. • Document all commissioning procedures and report on status and quality to the relevant stakeholders. • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards throughout the commissioning process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. • Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLC programs, and UPS technology. • Previous experience in commissioning or field service engineering is preferred. • Proficient in technical documentation and able to read and interpret engineering drawings. • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Dutch is a plus. • Willingness to travel extensively for on-site commissioning activities. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in various environments.
