Description

• MQ Project Engineer role in a leading software development company. • Responsible for identifying and implementing messaging and queuing solutions. • Collaborate with international teams to implement project requirements effectively. • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Technical Proficiency in IBM MQ across operating platforms such as z/OS and Linux is essential, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of MQ environments. • Knowledge of message brokers and the ability to design and implement messaging solutions. • Good understanding of z/OS Mainframe development • Ability to improvise and adapt to dynamic situations, willingness to learn continuously. • Flexible, outside of the box thinking whilst trying different solutions • Problem-solving mentality with exceptional analytical skills. • System and Linux engineering skills in combination with an understanding of enterprise software architecture, internet technologies, IT systems and infrastructure • Customer’s requirements analysis and mainframe migration solution design • Strong knowledge of at least one scripting language such as shell or Python • Experience with automation and scripting to streamline processes. • Eager to learn and dive deep into LzLabs’ product, demonstrating a genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring new environments • Flair for communication and interest in cross-function collaboration pushing a project forward • Flexibility to work on-site at the client's infrastructure
