📋 Description

• Build and scale the backend of our FinTech mobile application using Python/Django. • Own and run the platform: from development and deployment to monitoring and incident management. • Drive architecture decisions and lead solution discovery across the engineering team. • Work closely with DevOps to handle releases, migrations, infrastructure scaling, and security. • Lead integrations with external services: payment providers, KYC/EMI providers, etc. • Conduct code reviews, participate in design discussions, and enforce engineering best practices. • Support and mentor other engineers as a lead-by-example team player.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience, including deep knowledge of Python/Django • 2+ years of informal or formal experience mentoring other developers (not a must) • Solid grasp of DevOps processes – you’re comfortable owning infrastructure and deployments. • Strong understanding of databases (PostgreSQL), REST APIs, system design, and security best practices. • Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams, ideally in a startup or scale-up. • Proactive, structured, and self-managed work style – you're not waiting for someone to hand you a Jira ticket. • Fluent in English; excellent communicator across both technical and non-technical teams.
