Description

• Join Home Depot's Orange Apron Media as a Staff Data Engineer. • Build and optimize ETL and ELT processes. • Design scalable, secure, high-performance data architectures. • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers. • Provide mentorship to junior engineers and promote a learning culture. • Lead a team in delivering software solutions that impact customers. • Engage in product and tool selection, configuration, and monitoring.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience • Extensive experience in data engineering technologies and frameworks such as DBT, Dataform, or Databricks • Extensive experience working with Python and Pandas • Extensive experience writing SQL queries • Experience in version control systems, preferably GitHub • Experience with technical communication including Release Notes and Instructional Documentation • Experience in Relational or noSQL database technology • Experience in Google Cloud Platform or similar • Experience in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Spinnaker • Experience designing and implementing microservice-based architectures • Experience with modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques • Experience in implementing security frameworks for user and services authorization and authentication • Experience in creating and executing unit, functional, destructive and performance tests
