β’ Manage a team to drive Product COE (centers of excellence) expense analysis efforts by creating innovative KPI benchmarks to assist in identifying pros and cons of operational results. β’ Partner directly with business analysts and spend owners to create non-traditional actual to plan tracking, business insights and recommendations, and plan and forecast expense budgets. β’ Implement loss analytics workbook to assess overall LOB results on a monthly basis, develop rolling forecast process and analytics. β’ Own rolling forecast and plan processes for COE loss planning efforts, partner with business units to gain alignment and set a foundation for forecasting efforts while delivering results and updates to executive leaders. β’ Lead and drive forecast and planning efforts for owned COE functional groups while automating and implementing rolling forecast insights. β’ Develop, maintain, and improve standard reporting to business partners and spend owners. β’ Assist in the overall AmFam Direct planning process by collaborating and communicating with functions across the organization and enterprise. β’ Contribute to internal management reporting on segment and product levels for presentation to senior management regularly.
β’ BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance β’ CFA or MBA preferred β’ 7+ years total work experience, including substantial (>4 years) FP&A experience above the analyst level β’ Understand accounting fundamentals and financial statements β’ Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills β’ Unparalleled customer service orientation β’ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail β’ Ability to work independently and within a team and take on new tasks as needed β’ Expert-level MS Excel skills or other data manipulation software (Tableau) is a plus β’ Expert-level MS PowerPoint skills β’ Experience within Insurance industry is a plus
