Description
• Ensure stability, integrity, and efficient operation of information systems • Supervise the monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of internal servers • Participate in new optimization projects • Implement an aligned infrastructure and technological stack • Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests for modified and new systems • Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver performance statistics • Supervise and lead server operating system configuration and maintenance • Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities • Propose and create system design models and specifications • Assist with defining business requirements and resolving system issues • Ensure 24/7/365 availability of servers and related infrastructure • Create documentation related to all covered areas • Collaborate across departments to track and report projects and tasks
Requirements
• Strong knowledge and experience with Linux (CentOS/RHEL/CloudLinux) and LAMP stack • Proficiency in Linux Firewall • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (OSI model, protocols, routing, and firewalls) • Strong scripting knowledge in bash, perl, and python • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion • Experience with MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL, SQL administration is preferred • Being on call is an expected requirement for this position • Experience with virtualization platforms (Proxmox, Virtuozzo, and VMware) is a plus • Experience with configuration management systems (Ansible, Puppet, and Salt) is a plus • Familiarity with storage technologies like NFS and iSCSI troubleshooting is a plus
