📋 Description

• We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build and optimize high-load backend systems. • The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. • Work on architecting and scaling backend systems for high-load applications. • Optimizing PostgreSQL queries and indexes for performance improvements. • Implementing and managing message queues for scalable event-driven processing. • Developing robust, efficient, and secure APIs to power our applications. • Ensuring backend reliability, security, and maintainability. • Collaborating with frontend and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a field (or equivalent work experience). • 5+ years of backend development experience, including at least 2 years in high-load systems. • Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript. • Deep understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) with experience optimizing queries and indexes. • Experience implementing message queues (BullMQ, RabbitMQ, or similar) and working with event-driven architectures. • Knowledge of ORMs (e.g., TypeORM, Prisma) and their performance impact. • Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architectures. • Proficiency in writing efficient and scalable APIs. • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills. • Experience with caching strategies (Redis, Memcached) is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
