📋 Description
• Create drawing packages for utility customers • Apply technical knowledge in creating one-lines, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams and cable schedules • Support design tasks during peak load times • Create cable lists and connection drawings for field equipment from schematics • Create project specific schematic drawings from generic customer standard drawings • Revise existing diagrams for retrofit of new equipment • Calculate voltage drop with associated cables/wires • Communicate effectively with other OEC firms and clients
🎯 Requirements
• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent • Comprehensive direct technical experience in a similar field • Comprehensive knowledge of reading electrical drawings • Comprehensive knowledge of MS office suite • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical circuits • Ability to create one-line diagrams using scoping documents • Ability to create schematic diagrams from scratch using one-line diagrams and scoping documents • Ability to build cable schedules from wiring diagrams • Excellent communication skills both oral and written • Ability to multitask given projects based on deadlines • Ability to communicate effectively with other OEC firms and clients
