• HubSpot is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst, focusing on international direct tax compliance. • Ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions while supporting HubSpot’s growth. • Reporting into the Senior Manager of Global Compliance and Operations. • Key responsibilities include managing local tax provision computations and disclosures. • Supporting international tax compliance operations and preparing reconciliations. • Liaising with global tax advisors for accuracy of deliverables. • Supporting and documenting various tax matters for compliance. • Collaborating with teams to identify risks and opportunities from business initiatives. • Developing internal controls adhering to SOX compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required, masters in tax, accounting or CPA is required. • 6+ years of experience in public accounting and/or a U.S. multinational company required. • Strong tax technical base with particular focus on international tax. Working understanding of ASC 740, and GAAP to Stat differences. • ONESOURCE proficiency required. • Working knowledge of data wrangling tools required (such as Alteryx). • Technology/SaaS experience preferred. • Experience with NetSuite preferred or another major ERP required. • Willingness to roll-up your sleeves when work needs to get done. • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. • Self-driven, self-starter, goal oriented, and someone who can work independently to identify process improvements and drive the team to implement. • Strong oral and written skills with excellent communication. • Ability to research issues, document conclusions, and communicate findings. • Ability to work well with others, including as part of cross-functional teams and locations.
