Description
• Assess new and amended lease contracts for appropriate accounting under ASC 842 • Partner with FP&A and Facilities to plan expenses associated with new leases • Assess and monitor accounting related to strategic investments • Prepare GL entries and month-end closing activities • Prepare the Statement of Cashflows • Assist with various ad hoc technical accounting topics • Assist with SEC and statutory financial reporting • Complete monthly/quarterly/annual balance sheet and P&L fluxes
Requirements
• Accounting degree • 2-4 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally at a public accounting firm • CPA preferred, or planned path to obtain CPA license • Proficiency in Excel is required, Netsuite a plus • Desire to constantly be learning and improve their skills and knowledge • Big picture mindset to understand the impact of technical accounting decisions on the organization • Willingness to roll-up your sleeves when work needs to get done • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines • Strong oral and written skills and the ability to communicate
