Description

• Avertium is the managed security and consulting provider for cybersecurity services. • Avertium is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join the Finance Team. • This position will handle a variety of accounting tasks in a hands-on way. • Strong time management, analytical skills, attention to detail, and solid communication abilities are required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field • 3-5 years in-depth accounting experience (CPA preferred) • Experience with technology-enabled services companies • Ability to use various financial and business systems efficiently to gather and use data for reporting • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Passion for efficient, effective and scalable processes to produce accurate and useful results • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines • Natural ability to maintain confidentiality and practice standard business ethics • Comfortable taking initiative to work alongside and collaborate with other departments
