Description

• Design, develop, test and debug applications • Participate in agile ceremonies • Provide mentoring to software developers • Collaborate with data teams to meet organizational requirements • Monitor performance of data systems • Propose best practices for data engineering processes • Communicate data-related concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience in Python • Experience in SQL (at least one flavor) • Experience with source version control (using git) • Experience working with Scrum and the Agile methodology • Experience with AWS • Knowledge of security best practices on AWS • Experience using Docker • Good AWS experience (certifications are a big plus) • Experience with star schema design for Analytics • Knowledge (or experience) of Data Lakes • Knowledge (or experience) of Data Lake Houses • Experience with Bitbucket • Knowledge (or experience) of Spark and pySpark • Understanding of MPP and columnar DB engines • Some experience with data sets and data visualization tools • Knowledge (or experience) of deployment tools on AWS • Good knowledge of GDPR
