Requirements

β€’ 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java, Kotlin, Android, C++, or C# applications. β€’ Proven experience in software development with expertise in: Java or Kotlin for Android application development (for ATAK). β€’ C++ or C# for Windows-based application development (for WinTAK). β€’ Java for server-side development (for TAK Server and TAK Gateway). β€’ Familiarity with geospatial libraries and APIs. β€’ Experience with mobile development on Android platforms (for ATAK) and Windows environments (for WinTAK). β€’ Knowledge of communication protocols and data exchange mechanisms within military command and control systems. β€’ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. β€’ In-depth knowledge of the U.S. Army and Army processes, with a preference for experience in the logistics domain. β€’ Proven experience in the full software development life cycle, from requirements analysis to design, coding, testing, and deployment. β€’ Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. β€’ Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. β€’ Ability to mentor and lead a team of developers. β€’ Ability to obtain security clearance. β€’ Experience working dynamically in a paired programming environment. β€’ Familiarity with military logistics processes and experience supporting U.S. Army programs. β€’ Previous experience in a leadership role within software development projects. β€’ Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodology. β€’ Aptitude for assisting in technical requirement elaboration with business stakeholders. β€’ Active security clearance.
