📋 Description

• This is a remote position that may be performed from your home. • Work cross-functionally with other teams to manage, build, and scale lending processes. • Help utilize data analytics strategy to support our growing product portfolio. • Ensure the accuracy of credit decisions, compliance with SBA & USDA SOP. • Provide training & feedback to the underwriting team. • Modify and develop new policies to continuously scale teams. • Have the highest-level credit authority. • Ensure proper data, reporting, and dashboards to set KPIs and metrics for optimization. • Review assigned lending application processes and enhance for efficiency, credit, and SOP compliance. • Collaborate with teams on loan intake and underwriting process to achieve desired performance metrics. • Apply knowledge of SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to evaluate loan applications. • Review all relevant data sources when reviewing applications/credit memos. • Facilitate cross departmental collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field • Seven (7) or more years in commercial loan underwriting & financial analysis, at least five (5) of which have been in SBA and/or USDA space is preferred • Experience managing a team, working with the Executive team, and growing/building a loan program. • Ability to be hands on while also being strategically minded • Must be process oriented • Ability to prioritize and operate with a sense of urgency and foster that urgency to others • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. • Strong analytical skills • Data modeling experience is a plus
