Description

• Control reinsurance transactions for financial growth • Support the Reinsurance Accounting team and special projects • Ensure integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance • Manage records of reinsurance transactions • Prepare and monitor the recoverable aging report • Interact with reinsurance brokers and companies • Resolve disputed items with claims department • Review reinsurance contracts/agreements • Audit past reinsurance files for accuracy • Create financial statements and reports • Update and reconcile reinsurance related General Ledger accounts • Manage collection and billing of reinsurance receivables and payables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent • Minimum 3+ years of professional level experience in accounting role, preferably in insurance industry • Advanced knowledge of computer applications related to accounting and financial management systems • Requires advanced knowledge of Accounting theory and principles • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
