• Analyze, review, and conduct insurance premium audits in the field • Ensure accurate and efficient field audits while providing excellent customer service • Examines policyholder’s payroll records and operations • Partners with customers to ensure a professional and expeditious audit • Keeps current on information relative to premium auditing through internal and external resources
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university required with a major or emphasis in Accounting, Business or related field • Minimum 3 – 5 years of related experience as a Field Premium Auditor required • Carrier experience preferred • Associate in Premium Auditing (APA), Certified Insurance Premium Auditor (CIPA), or Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification preferred • Valid driver’s license required • Good working knowledge of Commercial Lines policies • Experience working with WCRIB, NCCI, and other independent bureaus is highly desirable • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community • Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups • Solid math skills • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills
