Description

• Works closely with the IHIE Developers, Product Owners, Support/Integration Teams, and partners to design solutions for data processing, storage, and exchange. • This position will focus on supporting ingestion of incoming data, standardizing and normalizing storage, optimization of queries, creation of procedures, and processing transactional and bulk datasets in a variety of formats.

Requirements

• Adaptability and flexibility in a rapidly changing environment • Self-starter and self-motivated • Ambitious spirit – brings fresh ideas to the table and finds creative solutions to problems • Great attitude with outstanding communication and listening skills • BS in computer science or related field • 4+ years experience with software analysis, troubleshooting, design, development, and testing • 4+ years experience with SQL and relational databases, specifically PL-SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle, and PostgreSQL • 4+ years experience with system integrations, data processing, and ETL • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting expertise • Proven success designing efficient, scalable, and maintainable data management solutions • Experience with working across multiple application development or operations teams • Ability to learn new and complicated technologies, techniques, tools, and business processes quickly • Experience handling demanding projects and juggling multiple priorities • Strong communication skills • Ability to research, understand, and take ownership of existing application code • Experience in a HIPAA regulated environment or with health data (preferred) • Experience with common health data transport protocols, such as HL7 v2 and CCD (preferred) • Experience with the Agile and/or Scrum methodologies preferred (preferred)
