Description

•Responsible for all aspects of customer relationship management, portfolio management, proposal development, and intelligence gathering •Develop strategic plans for winning new business and expanding market share •Identify innovative and competitive solutions to customer problems •Execute strategies in core competencies to win large human array opportunities •Identify and pursue large ($1M+) opportunities •Lead by example in campaign planning and customer relationship management •Demonstrates knowledge of the market environment and industry trends •Initiates and maintains long-term customer relationships •Provides thought leadership in pursuing new approaches to solve customer challenges •Works cooperatively with other functional roles in a team selling model

Requirements

•PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Chemistry or Biochemistry desired •M.S. + relevant work experience •Experience with DNA microarray technology and genotyping applications is highly desired •Experience with other genomic technologies and molecular biology techniques is required •Research experience working in the Genotyping field is a plus •Experience with product commercialization •Significant Sales or customer facing experience required •Strong written and verbal communication skills •Ability to work as a member of a multifunctional team •Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook required •SFDC and JDE knowledge a plus •Travel up to 50-60%
